Cameron's CERT Team trains regularly.   These everyday citizens prepare to be part of the
solution if and when a major event hits the area.   Here are some examples of our team's
training and experience.

Team Members start by receiving classroom training in all areas that might be necessary if CERT is called out to assist.   Professionals from EMS, Fire, Cameron Emergency Management Agency, Cameron Police Department and organizations like the Red Cross teach team members how to confidently and effectively respond to many emergency situations

After the classroom time comes the excitement of actual training exercises. Our CERT team frequently trains side by side with the Fire Department.  
Getting valuable experience from real pros.

After completion of the training, each member receives official certification.  Now they share with other team members, the pride that comes with knowing they have the training and experience to be part of one of our communities greatest assets.
